Our hearts are covered by a membrane containing nearly 40,000 neurons - the same category of cells that make up our brains. Thus, our hearts are intelligent beings - able not only to feel, but to think, learn and guide our behaviors as well. Time and again, being in connection with and trusting in our hearts has been proven by researchers across fields to have profound physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits.
